Volume Control

Learn how to use the volume control feature on the new Onguard website, designed for seamless management of your GSM patrol radios. This tutorial will guide you through setting the volume so that it cannot be switched off by guards, ensuring that critical messages and alerts are always heard. Keep your team connected and responsive with this essential tool!

Step 1:
Navigate to the left-hand menu and click on Admin.

Step 2:
In the drop-down menu, click on Devices. This will display all the sites along with the devices assigned to each site.

Step 3:
Click on the Customer drop-down menu to see which devices are installed at each site.

Step 4:
Identify the device whose volume you want to adjust. Once located, click on the drop-down menu next to it.

Step 5:
Navigate to the right and click Edit to access the device details.

Step 6:
Scroll down to the section labeled Default Volume Level for Starting a Patrol. Set the volume to at least 50% to ensure guards stay alert and don’t miss any notifications.

Step 7:
Scroll down and click Save to apply the changes.

Step 8:
Congratulations! You’ve successfully edited the volume control for the device in the backend.
