Setting up a patrol schedule

In this video, we explore the benefits of using the new patrol scheduling system for streamlined security management. Our innovative system allows you to easily set patrol routes, durations, and rest periods, ensuring guards are well-prepared and never miss a patrol.

With features like manual route customization, automated scheduling, and the ability to duplicate patrols for the entire week, this tool ensures operational efficiency and flexibility. Take control of your security team’s patrols with ease and precision using our state-of-the-art scheduling platform.

Step 1: Access the Admin Panel

• Navigate to the left-hand menu.
• Select “Admin” from the dropdown.

Step 2: Locate and Edit the Device

• Click on “Devices.”
• Locate the site you are working on.
• Select the device and click “Edit.”

Step 3: Open the Schedule

• In the editing screen, click on “Schedule.”

Step 4: Quick Setup for Patrol

• Let’s begin by scheduling for three routes.
• Add a 5-minute buffer to the patrol duration (e.g., a 40-minute patrol becomes 45 minutes).

Step 5: Set Patrol Times

• Under “Repeat Daily,” schedule the patrol from Monday to Sunday, for a 6 AM to 6 PM shift, or your desired times.

Step 6: Set Rest Periods

• Add a 10-minute rest period between patrols to ensure the guard doesn’t have to rush and won’t miss starting the next patrol.

Step 7: Configure Spacing

• Include a break period under “Spacing” to give the guard a proper break.

Step 8: Create the Patrol

• Click “Create Patrol” to populate the schedule.

Step 9: Review and Adjust

• Scroll down to view all the details, including the route, patrol times, days, rest periods, and spacing.
• To remove a patrol, right-click and select “Delete.” You can also delete all patrols for the day at the top.

Step 10: Manually Add Patrol Routes

• Click and drag to add manual patrol routes from start to end time.
• Right-click and select “Repeating Patrol” to duplicate the patrol for the rest of the week.
