In this video, we show you how to set up geofenced areas for your devices.
You will be notified when a device exits or enters any of its geofences, via the monitoring stack and push messaging on the app.
Geofencing is included in the daily reports, and can even be viewed live from the monitoring page.
A maximum of five geofences are allowed per device.
Step 1: Access the Admin Panel
- Navigate to the left-hand menu.
- Select “Admin” from the dropdown.
Step 2: Locate and Edit the Device
- Click on “Devices.”
- Locate the site you are working on.
- Select the device and click “Edit.”
Step 3: Open the Geofence Map
- In the editing screen, click on “Geofence.”
Step 4: Draw Geofences
- In the top left corner of the map, click the polygon and then start clicking points on the map to draw your geofence.
Step 5: Name your geofence areas
- Once you have drawn your geofenced area, a popup will prompt you for a name, and you can even set a color.
